Kevin talks with Johnathan from Widget Press at the Macworld Expo 2009. Widget Press creates a product called Model Baker that allows you to quickly build and deploy database driven web applications with additional mobile support with the UI of the iPhone web browser.

Kevin talks with Adam from Bee Docs at the Macworld Expo 2009. Bee Docs is a unique 3D time line application to jazz up your presentations or school work. Using Bee Docs you can add items to a time line, the difference with this application is that you can generate a 3D video with variable zooms allowing you to focus on specific events to tell your story.

Kevin Hnatiuk is in San Francisco covering Macworld Expo 2008. This video was shot just after Steve Jobs’ keynote, and Kevin gives his impressions on the four big announcements.

Covered in this video is the Time Capsule, new iPhone applications, the AppleTV Take 2 + iTunes movie rentals, and finally the megaton announcement; the new MacBook Air.

Time Capsule is Apple’s new wireless base station with internal disk storage that you can use with Leopard’s Time Machine backup service for wireless backups.

New iPhone applications were announced including a new Google Maps application featuring cell tower triangulation for a faux-GPS like experience.

The AppleTV Take 2 boasts a wholly redesigned user interface and for the first time will allow you to buy videos, TV shows and music tracks from the comfort of your couch. The great announcement tied into this was that all previously sold AppleTVs will get these new features for free!

Steve’s final announcement was the unveiling of the MacBook Air, a ridiculously thin new notebook. This thing is so small that it will fit in a standard manila envelope.

The ModBook is basically a modified Macbook. Axiotron will add a new wacom enabled touchscreen, a new magnesium alloy screen bezel, and a 1 year warranty that covers both the new screen and the Apple laptop. You can write anywhere on the screen for quick note taking, or settle down into Photoshop for some illustration.

The Modbook is the tablet mac that Apple hasn’t made yet.
