Jason Calacanis talks about his new human powered search engine, Mahalo.com at Search Engine Strategies 2008 in New York.

Mahalo is a “Human Powered Search Engine” where human beings create all of the result pages by hand. This allows you to find the top five or ten links for any particular topic. Search engine results are often times filled with spam sites, Mahalo is working to fix that.
